USA Guided Tours was one of the more interesting projects - this stretch of it in particular. I needed to set up a heightened campaign look and feel for the end-of-year collection of static ads - and it needed to feel and look different than the rest of the collections - so I took it in a different direction. THE QUESTION: How do you make a group of people stop in their tracks for a travel campaign - even if they have already toured with the USA Guided Tour company? THE PROCESS & SOLUTION: I interlaced some previously used elements, like the travel markers and seasonal imagery. I also wanted to make these art pieces as much as they are ads - using image compositing as the cornerstone of the campaign. It turned out to be a win, and the team loved it - and i was excited I got to try out an idea I wanted to see applied to travel style content for a LONGGGGGGG time.
